We have been showing this mare for the past couple of years at local and open shows and have won many High Point awards, Championships and Reserve Championships with her. Teya has no problem holding her on showing under all breed judges including Quarter horse judges while showing against every breed. In May of 2007 Teya and I won a High Point at a Charity show as well as the Western Pleasure Championship & Hunt Seat Championship. I showed her in the first show of a 3 show series and held the High Point Adult up until the last class of the third show. ( I couldn't show the next two shows due to health reasons.) In June of 2007 we shown at the Brown County Charity Show and took a couple 2nds and Reserve Champion Western Pleasure. We won a couple classes at the Alexandria Fair including the Western Pleasure Championship against QH's/Arabians/Morgans/Saddlebreds. The last show we went to was the last week of September and we won four of the seven (took 2 seconds and 1 third) of the Western classes we went into and took Reserve Champion in the Purebred Arabian Western Championship and Reserve Champion in the Open Western Pleasure
Championship. 3-Thirds in Hunt Seat (Purebred Arabain classes and Open Pleasure), 2nd in Open Equitation (pattern). In the Western division of the show we took High Point Horse. In 2006 we won the High Point Open with K.A.R.B.S. (Kentucky Arabian Riders and Breeders Society), as well as High Point Adult in the Brown County Horseman's Society 3 show series, and High Point Horse of the Brown County Fair western show. We recently found out that we won the Purebred Open High Point award for KARABS 2007. Teya has been there and done that. My daughter has also shown her in leadline and walk/trot and Trail-In-Hand. Teya is a great horse for anything you want to do. I have even shown her in Hunter Hack and low hunters. She is great for farrier work, vet work, clipping, bandaging, loading, unloading, saddling, mounting, trail riding, working cows, proven road safe. Teya has been used as a lesson horse and shown by 4-Her's.
Teya is currently being shown Walk/Trot by a seven year old with plans of showing Walk/Trot/Canter later in the show season.
It dosen't matter if she has been turned out for one day or one year, she will collect up like she has never had a break. Teya is a Rose grey mare. I regularly show her Western (her specialty) and Hunt seat. I have shown her in Costume as well and my daughter shows her in halter and Walk/Trot. In the winter when it snows, we use her to pull the kids on sleds around the farm.
Teya has really proven herself this fall by taking our seven year old daughter in to the winner's circle multiple times in Western Pleasure Walk/Trot. This mare is one of the safest mounts that I have ever come across. Once she enters the show ring, he is all business and takes excellent care of her young rider. This mare is excellent for someone who looking for a mount that will take their child all the way from Leadline to Walk/Trot clean through Adult Pleasure classes! She can do it all including flying lead changes and her sliding stops are getting better with practice.
Just through a rope around her neck, jump on her back, and put her through her paces.
Teya needs to find someone who is needing an experienced horse to get them started out. It will also help with their confidence going out and being in the top right off the bat.
Asking Price of Teya is thru Private Treaty. Serious inquiries please contact us for more information. Payent terms available! Possible lease to the right family! Just ask! This price is negotaible to the right home.
**UPDATE** On May 8th, Teya was shown at the New Hope Memorial Horse Show and won 10 of the 17 classes entered (5 seconds, 1 third, 1 fourth). She also won their High Point Award. There were pictures of her (as well as our new mare Legacy's First Luv) in the Brown County Press newspaper. Not to bad, she was entered in 17 classes between being shown by myself as well as my daughter. On June 23rd 2009 there was a picture and write up in the Brown County News Democrat of the acceptance of the High Point Trophy.
Al's Little Man -- Shaggy
9 year old 12HH Chestnut pony. He is a super cute thing and moves like a dream. He has some great knee and hock action naturally. He has been worked by my 6 year old daughter on the lunge at a W/T/C as well as over jumps. The highest we've set the jumps up to work him is 2'6". That was on the lunge line. I am 5' tall and feel that I'm to big to be riding him over bigger jumps (I've jumped 2' with him), but I have ridden him on trails as well as on the road. He has proven to be a safe mount for both. The cars did not bother him a bit either coming or going. His forelock comes to the point of his nose, his mane comes down past the point of his shoulder. All of which is a good thick hair. He has a moderate feathering on his legs which make him look like a little draft. He came from a Canadian horse farm in Ohio. I do not canter him under saddle when I ride because I feel that I am to heavy and my daughter is not ready to canter. Shaggy is stout enough to hold up, but I feel it is unfair to ask him to try it. He has a 10 trot movement and will round up nicely in the canter. He has been shown leadline and is almost unbeatable in Walk/Trot as well as has shown halter and In-Hand classes. My 6 year old catches him, halters him, brushes and saddles him as well as mounts be herself with the use of a mounting block with no help.
He has qualified and been shown at USEF Pony Nationals about five years prior to us purchasing him and with some could possibly make it back there. He would make a great mount for an intermediate rider wanting to do some Dressage or rail classes.
Shaggy does get spooky when in new surroundings, but calms down once he gets to know that everything is okay.
Shaggy has not been jumped since September and has not been ridden since Mid December.

MSMF Knight Moves
Moose was broke to drive by Kathryn Schwartz (2005 Golden Reins recepient from the Morgan Horse Association) of Society Training Stables in Troy Ohio. He was in training for 3 1/2 months. He is broke as a Hunt Seat horse, but has action to possibly be moved up to Classic Pleasure with work in a double bridle. He could go all day long and never tire out. Moose was bred and foaled at the Morning Star Morgan farm in Ohio.
Please check out his pedigree on the Geldings Page.
He has such a great personality. He loves to be the center of attention and loves to play. My daughter will take her brushes and lead ropes to the pasture to mess with our Arabian gelding and Moose will pick up her brushes and lead ropes and take off with them. I also have a barrel jump set up in our dry lot and he will take and roll the barrels around the pasture. He is a true clown and loves attention from anyone.
Moose is a 15 hand Bay gelding with a star, a thick and wavy mane and a thick tail.
He is a Hunter Horse Deluxe and a beautiful Morgan Sporthorse prospect! Moose has the potential to do just about anything you ask him to do. He is a quick learner.
Moose is back at the farm for sale again... Unfortunately, the person who purchased him on a Payment Contract failed to make the contract payments.
Moose is currently out to pasture due not having time to take away from the show string.
